Why I Started wCP

Do you know, I started Women CEO Project out of a personal need to become a better, more consummate business professional? I found organizations with “ cliques “ that I never seemed to fit, AND I’d leave events STILL in the same place-broke and not knowing what my next steps should be. 

So, after one final useless luncheon, I started Women CEO Project on the evening of August 31, 2010. Initially, I started WCP as a stage where I’d simply bring in the talent and I’d be the host. One thing I did do, that changed the trajectory of WCP, was I hired a coach. It wasn’t until the end of one of my sessions with my coach that she made a life-changing assessment and suggestion. 

She wondered, why, after graduating #2 in my class, with a Masters in Business, and a vast amount of relatable business experience at the time, why did I not coach others. I had no answer except fear., the same fear that you probably felt when you thought that you needed to be awarded your “expert status”. That night, after much contemplation, I created the coaching leg of my business and I never looked back. BIGGEST lesson here…you always need a coach and someone in your corner to see the things that you cannot see in yourself. 

Since becoming a coach, I have worked hand and hand and helped my clients have some AMAZING successes, building their coaching businesses, taking their brands global, and bringing some to the 7-figure mark ( see testimonials below )
